Hello everyone! My name is Megan. I’m creating this GoFundMe today to help me purchase a vehicle off of Marketplace before my baby girl arrives on January 29th, in just a little over a month!

I currently take the city bus to and from work (which has been working fine); however, I don’t think it’s best to be waiting outside in the cold at bus stops trying to get a newborn to and from doctor's appointments or WIC appointments. I have some money set aside to contribute to getting a vehicle, and essentially I’m just looking to get something cheap that will get me and the baby from point A to point B safely. Any little amount will help out tremendously and is greatly appreciated! I know money is tight, probably with the holidays, but again, anything will help me and this baby to come!

SIDE NOTE: I did have a vehicle that I went and financed back in 2024 from MotorCity in Rochester, and unfortunately for me, it was junk. They sold me the car with a blown head gasket unknowingly, and the engine blew only a month after having it. So, I was forced to be stuck with the remainder of the loan ($11,000), to which I told them I’m not paying and to come pick up the car, which was a voluntary repo. With that being said, I can’t just go and finance another vehicle. I have to buy one outright, title in hand.
