Help Megan get a new set of wheels
Donation protected
Hi everyone.
We are a group of 10 nursing staff from the Ulster hospital, running the Belfast Marathon relay.
We are raising money for the beautiful Megan.
Megan is a bright beautiful upbeat 21 year old with a sunny outlook on life. Megan puts a smile on anyone’s face who is lucky enough to meet her. She loves listening to music especially Britney Spears.
Megan is blind, has septo optic dysplasia, autism and a severe learning disability.
Megan also suffers from epilepsy. Megan’s seizures have become difficult to control, and have resulted in 4 admission into hospital in the last 18 months with aspiration pneumonia.
With each admission Megan is becoming more reliant on oxygen and her mobility is becoming more reduced. This is affecting Megan’s ability to be able to leave the house.
We are trying to raise enough money so that Megan can get a electric wheelchair with carer control panels. This will enable Megan to have a better quality of life, having the ability to get out and enjoy doing things with her family.
