Help Megan Fight Thyroid Cancer

I’m Nikkie, Megan Gills' little sister.

I’ve decided to create a go fund me for Megan and her family to help her family through some tough recent events. Megan has been in and out of the ER multiple times in the past 2 months, all resulting in extended stays. Each time, leaving with more and more "not good news" with a ton of ongoing issues. Medical issues we had been praying for answers on. Each trip has led her down another path just to find out something new or worse each time. Unfortunately, Megan has just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. On top of this, she just had a hysterectomy yesterday, May 8th. They performed bladder surgery and found stage 4 endometriosis. The endometriosis has now spread to her colon and intestines, among other areas. This has caused her many other issues, including severe anemia, infusions that lead to anaphylaxis, etc. Needless to say, this has been far from a walk in the park. On top of all that, she is now working with neurologists and cardiologists to find the cause of her recent Syncope episodes and heart issues. Megan has been losing consciousness and passing out throughout the day. Her team has been wonderful so far and trying to get her back to her busy self. To say this is heartbreaking news to our family is an understatement.

Megan is a wife to A firefighter Chris & mother of two girls, Khloe (13) & Madison (10). She is a hard-working mother and business owner who has been stopped in her tracks and forced down a very tough journey ahead.

Megan has been unable to work, drive, or be left unattended and Chris has had to take leave to be with her. Megan and her family are facing a really tough road ahead. If you feel compelled to donate to her family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My sister is an extraordinary woman who is extremely tough, faith driven, and focused. With Gods mercy and love, Megan and our family are praying for a full, healthy outcome and recovery.
