Please help Megan fight acute on chronic liver failure.

I don't have the words to describe what my sister Megan means to me, let alone what she means to the rest of her family, her friends, and her church. Megan has said when she does go home to Heaven, she would like to be remembered as a person who showed the love and light of Jesus Christ. Everyone who knows her would say she shines that light. Always willing to help with a cheerful smile, you would never know if Megan was struggling, because of the thankfulness she has to our Lord and Savior and the joy she receives in serving others.

As much as she might like to, Megan cannot hide her suffering now. My sister is currently receiving acute, intensive care for liver failure. She has never abused alcohol and doctors are currently testing for autoimmune or Wilson's disease as the cause for her liver failure. Without knowing exactly the cause, every doctor and specialist she has seen has agreed she should be evaluated for a transplant. They are estimating her probability of survival in the next 90 days without intervention is 33%.

Currently Megan has no health insurance, and no hospital capable of performing the transplant evaluation will accept her without it. If we can help her get insurance, my sister will need help affording her care in Washington where she will be evaluated for and possibly undergo liver transplant surgery.
