Hi, my name is Justine Bullers. I am creating this on behalf of my bestie, Megan Blum Garcia. Megan is 38 years old and an amazing mother to four beautiful daughters who are her world. If you know Megan and her family, you know the past year has already been extremely difficult. Megan is facing another difficult road ahead and needs all the support and prayers for her and her family.

On Monday, June 24, Megan went to the hospital after experiencing headaches. Thinking it was something as simple as being dehydrated, she was in shock when the doctors told her she had a possible tumor on her brain. Tuesday morning, she was rushed into surgery thinking they were removing an abscess. Soon into surgery, the doctors realized it was a large brain tumor and removed what they could but were unable to remove it all. After three long weeks waiting on results, the pathology report came back positive for Astrocytoma, IDH mutant, CNS WHO grade 4, a very aggressive brain cancer. Everyday tasks have proven to be difficult with ongoing changes in her vision. Watching this family jump hurdle after hurdle has been heartbreaking. Unfortunately, with no insurance, medical bills are quickly adding up. Chemo and radiation are still ahead. But through all of this, Megan has been a true inspiration. She knows through the power of prayer and with God and her family by her side, everything will be okay. The only thing Megan has asked for is continued prayers. Megan is a fighter and will continue to fight. If you are able to help in this fight, anything will help but more importantly, pray for Megan and her family. Thank you for all your support.
