On Wednesday, my little sister was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

This past month has been a whirlwind of appointments—CT scan, ultrasounds, and biopsies. Now she's facing more scans, surgery, a hospital stay, and follow-up treatments. What exactly that will look like is still being worked out, but one thing is certain—this was never something they planned for. We’re so grateful for the love and support already shown.

Megan has been the main provider for her family so Ryan could be a caregiver for their sweet five-year-old daughter. Money is already beyond tight, and with the costs of hospital stays, treatment, travel, and everyday living expenses, it’s going to add up quickly. On top of that, their income has recently been cut drastically, when things were already stretched thin.
