Megan and Reggie are going through some tough times. Reggie has fallen ill suddenly and drastically and Megan is fighting to keep her well.
This emergency vet visit came as shock. If you know Megan, you know the care she gives Reggie is unparalleled. Megan is fighting tooth and nail for Reggie and we can help them both. This vet visit alone cost $5000 and it's likely more will follow.
When a friend needs help, you help them and many hands make light work. If we can exceed this goal and help offset the expenses of ongoing treatment I know it would mean the world to Megan and her household. Thank you for taking the time and consideration.

Update:
This is Megan, first thank you to everyone who has shown support. Small, large, every cent has been truly helpful. Money is a sticky subject to me and I really went through a series of unfortunate events. I did move my goal to $8,500.00. To be transparent this was the total cost of care in the first week. Between her primary vet, emergency vet, and cardiologist this is a rounded down total.
Reggie was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and will require significant care, many future appointments, blood transfusions, and lifelong medication. One of the medications she is on is $50.00 a week...yes a week. We are still receiving answers and will be continuing testing over the nexts few months, but we are stable, navigating and doing well!!
As hard as this is, I am getting answers and I will do everything I can to create a happy life for my demon babe. It is clear her and I are made for each other. An autoimmune gal for an autoimmune cat. Thank you all for keeping me cat with me <3
