Help Megan and Brianna Start Again
Donation protected
My name is Chloe, and I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my best friends, Megan Trembley, or “Meg”, and her 11-year-old daughter, Brianna, who have just experienced an unimaginable loss here in Los Angeles. The recent Palisades fire not only destroyed their home, but also caused her job to be closed indefinitely, adding to the stress of when or if they will recover.
Meg has spent her whole life in the Palisades- growing up attending Pali elementary and Pali high, working at local institutions, and raising her daughter.
For 13 years, Meg has been a pillar of Pearl Dragon and the greater Pali community where she not only manages and serves but also makes every person feel like an integral part of her world. She knows everyone by name, remembers their favorite orders, and has a special way of making people feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. Whether it’s a familiar regular or someone new, Meg always goes out of her way to help anyone who needs it.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Meg for years, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most kind-hearted, generous, and caring people you will ever meet.
Her generosity knows no bounds. Whether she’s helping a friend in need, supporting a stranger, or taking care of any stray animal that wanders her way- she’s always there to lend a hand. She’s someone who lights up every room she enters, and her kindness has impacted so many of us.
Now, it’s our turn to help her.
Unfortunately, Pali, along with their home, is now gone—reduced to ash. They’ve lost all their personal belongings, their home, and the sense of security that comes from living in a place you’ve grown up in.
In the midst of this heartache, Meg has remained strong for her daughter, doing everything she can to keep her safe and positive. But the road to recovery is long, and they need our support.
Your donation will contribute to making sure that during this difficult time she can keep up with things like bills and car related expenses. She can do something special for Brianna who just turned 11 on January 9th and didn’t get to celebrate. It will help her replace her laptop and other electronics that so she can focus on finding a new place to work and Brianna study. It will make sure they feel safe while they are still hopping around temporary housing, as well as this can help them to get a storage unit so that they don't miss out on opportunities for things like furnishings, clothing, and other household items. It will assist them in getting their pup, Maverick, and cat Zephyr new bedding and supplies, and get them microchipped in case they are ever in another situation like this.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring a sense of comfort to this amazing mother and daughter.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would also mean the world to us. Let’s come together and show Meg the kindness and generosity she has given so many of us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
