Help Megan Addison Access Urgent Private Cancer Treatment

Hi, my name is Megan Addison. I’m 21 years old, and for over two years now, I’ve been fighting a very rare form of brain cancer a battle that has turned my entire world upside down.

This journey has taken everything from me: time, energy, health, and countless months in hospital. I’ve gone through rounds of treatments, medications, and a surgery through the NHS, and I’m so grateful for the incredible care I’ve received.

Despite going through treatment options available on the NHS — including surgery and proton beam therapy. I’ve now been told there’s nothing more they can offer me. It’s the kind of news you can never truly prepare for. But I’m not ready to give up. Not yet.

In addition to the cancer itself, I now live with a long list of life-altering complications. I experience frequent seizures called dissociative attacks, chronic migraines and left-sided weakness that affects my ability to walk and carry out basic daily tasks. On top of that, I face constant fatigue, cognitive difficulties, and overwhelming pain both physical and emotional.

Private medical care could be my only remaining chance to access new or experimental treatments, second opinions, or clinical trials that simply aren’t available through the NHS. But the costs are more than I can afford on my own.

I’m asking for help to raise around £800 to cover the urgent costs of private consultations, advanced scans, and any treatment that may offer hope or relief. If we go beyond that goal, the extra funds will be used for follow-up appointments, supportive therapies, travel, and specialist prescriptions.

This isn’t easy to write, and it’s even harder to ask for help. But every share, every kind word, and every donation, no matter how small, could be the thing that keeps me going, not just physically, but emotionally too.
