Help Meg heal from emergency surgery
Hi friends,
My name is Amy, and I was blessed to be Meg’s roommate while at college in LA. We’ve stayed close throughout the years, and I was shocked to hear that a car hit her while she was on her scooter last Saturday afternoon, which fractured her left shoulder (her dominant side) and left her in extreme pain. She had surgery a few days ago where they placed metal in the bone, and is due to be released from the hospital on Thursday (Taiwan time).
We are so thankful God spared her life, but the costs of surgery (plus impending job loss given the length of recovery time) are greater than expected. Her scooter was also damaged. If anyone is able to contribute, even a little bit, I am confident we can rally around her to help ease her mind during this time. We know God is using our dear sister to love on precious kids in Taiwan, and we will pray for a steady recovery, and also for an amazing Taiwanese friend who is housing Meg and caring for her as she heals (all while working full time).
Please pray also God will provide another English teaching job when she is able to work again. Your kindness means SO much to Meg during this time. God bless you, friends!
