Help Meg Cover Rocky's Vet Bills
Donation protected
Hi! I'm Meg and this is Rocky. Rocky was a stray, he showed up about 1-2 days after my dad died, so I always felt he was heaven sent. Rocky became my beloved companion and service dog. He loved people and would do his seal wiggle to any new person and he loved kids even more. Rocky loved food and helped clean the floor regularly! On September 14th, Rocky began throwing up. By that evening he could no longer stand. At the emergency veteranarian clinic that evening, they found that he had a large cancerous mass in his abdomen. It had "burst" and he was full of gas and fluids. Surgery was estimated at $15,000 and the doctor said he would not likely live through it. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life and at 3 am on September 15, I watched my baby boy pass on to the next life while I held him in my arms. I am not sure how long it will take to get over the passing of my fur baby. I am not married; I do not have children. He was my everything and my room is very lonely at night. The $3,500 vet bill was put on a care credit account. I live paycheck to paycheck and work 2 jobs to make my weekly bills. This, to me, is such a huge bill, and it will take me many, many months to pay. I'm hoping to adopt a new baby soon, so included some room for the adoption fees. I am hoping some animal lovers will understand and any help at all is appreciated. Truly a gift from God. I thank you so very much for considering helping me.
