Our beloved cat Meedo is a 5-year-old male British Shorthair who has been suffering from a painful eye infection after developing cherry eye. His eye has been tearing for months, and he can barely sleep comfortably with it closed. With other cats in the home his kitten & wife, playing has caused a scratch in the area, and it now bleeds even with gentle warm compresses. We’ve tried vet prescribed eye drops, but unfortunately they haven’t worked. The only option left is surgery to treat the cherry eye and reduce the infection, swelling, and pain.
