Help medical expenses for Sandi

Hi, my name is Tiffany and I writing this Go Fund Me with permission from my cousins Merideth and Danette.

Sandi has been suffering from Bulbar Onset ALS for the last couple of years. ALS is a progressive neurogenerative disease that is 100% fatal. Bulbar Onset means Sandi has lost her ability to speak or eat solid food. The muscles in her neck no longer keep her head up. Lockjaw is a constant worry. She needs a walker or wheelchair to get around.

The expenses to fight ALS are extreme. She has social security and a small pension, but it doesn't come close enough to cover her costs. This month alone, her expenses include a wheelchair ramp ($2500), an electrical adjustable bed ($600), medication out of pocket ($550), electrical work on her home ($1000), and four (4!) visits to the ER. In addition, an in home aide has been brought in a few hours a week to help with extra care.

Sandi has always been the kindest and most generous. She spent her entire life helping others and has always tried to do what's best. She loves Jesus and her family and doesn't want to ask for help. But the situation is not improving and her expenses continue to rise.
