Help With Medical Expenses Due To Brain Bleed

As many of you know, my husband and Pastor, Darrell Ojeda, of Sunnyslope Community Church suffered a brain bleed on his brain stem, that caused traumatic brain injury Tuesday January 18th, 2022. He is in very critical condition, COVID positive, and fighting for his life in ICU.

I appreciate everyone that has continued to seek, fast, pray for him. The prayers are working! Despite everything the doctors have said about his quality of life, Darrell continues to show brain function. While the brain injury has caused him to remain in a coma, he does respond to our voices by moving his feet to communicate to us. I believe God is not through with him and is still working not only in the good times but in us and through Darrell in his process of healing.

 

Although doctors have strongly encouraged palliative care, I have continued to advocate for alternatives. I’ve requested neurosurgeons to review his case and operate as soon as possible.

 

Even in his current state Darrell continues to bless us by strengthening our faith. He will have a long road to recovery but God is able!

 

Myself, his family, along with the SCC family, have launched this GO FUND ME to help support medical expenses attributed to his brain injury. I appreciate all of the love, support, prayers, visits, calls, and texts. You all have helped me to stray encouraged over the past couple of weeks. As you prepare to give what you can, I also ask that you continue to pray for the best surgeon to take his case and prepare to operate without fear and doubt.
