Cancer took so much from our family, but it didn’t take away our dream. We’re raising funds for a new food trailer so my husband can keep doing what he loves, which is cooking BBQ, gourmet burgers, cheesesteaks, loaded bowls and so much more for our community without the heavy physical strain.
My name is Mecca and together with my husband Jason, we run a small family food trailer called J&M Zouthern Infusionz. We’ve spent the last year sharing our homemade sauces, spices, and smoked BBQ with our community at festivals, markets, and events.
But right now, we’re struggling. My husband recently battled cancer and went through a life changing surgery. While he is working hard on recovery, the physical labor of running our current trailer has become overwhelming for him. Our trailer requires us to load everything into our truck, unload at every event, then pack everything back up again. On top of that, our truck can barely handle the heavy hauling anymore.
We’re hoping to raise funds for a new food trailer (and eventually a truck) that will make this work sustainable again so my husband can continue doing what he loves without so much strain on his body. Having the right trailer would not only ease the burden on him but also allow us to keep sharing our food with the community we love.
If you feel moved to help, you can support us here on GoFundme. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Even if you aren’t able to give financially, simply sharing our story would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your time and kindness.
With gratitude,
Jason & Mecca Mote
J&M Zouthern Infusionz
