Hello friends, and family! My name is LaShawn, and I am reaching out to share a very special milestone for my daughter, Mecca. Since she was a child, Mecca has had an unwavering passion for caring for animals from rescuing neighborhood strays to spending her summers volunteering at local shelters.

I am incredibly proud to announce that after years of hard work and late-night studying, she has been accepted into Arizona State University. However, the path to becoming a veterinarian is as challenging as it is rewarding, particularly the financial commitment. Between tuition, medical equipment, and textbooks, the costs are overwhelming. I am starting this fundraiser to help Mecca focus on her intensive medical training without the constant burden of financial stress.
