On the morning of September 5 I got a terrifying phone call from a police officer — I was listed as emergency contact and a house was on fire. I got in the car and sped to my best friend’s house.

Meagn Goose lost everything in a devastating fire that destroyed her rental home. While she and her dogs are safe, her clothing, books, furniture, art, and a lifetime of memories were lost in just 15 minutes of fire. She does not have a home to return to and has to rebuild from scratch.
