Hi, my name is Meagan, I’m a mom of 3, a full-time nursing student, and a 2-year stroke survivor. In 2023, just after giving birth, I suffered a stroke that changed my life forever. The stroke led to seizures that caused me to break my shoulder, requiring a full replacement and keeping me out of work for almost a year.

Nearly a year later, my spouse also suffered a broken hip. He has been unable to work for over a year, and his workers’ comp payments stopped over 8 months ago. Since then, my income has been our family’s only source of support.

We’ve done everything we can to adapt downsizing our home, cutting costs, and leaning on the incredible support of friends and family, but with a family of 5, we are still falling short each month. We are now doing everything possible to catch up and get back on steady ground.

My goal is to raise enough to cover our overdue expenses and bring us back to a place where we can breathe again. Any amount, big or small, will help us more than words can express. From the bottom of my heart thank you for being here, for caring, and for helping us through this chapter. ❤️
