Hey everyone,
I created this go fund me to help pay my medical bills for being in the ER for several hours before they transported me to the ICU for the night and then to a regular hospital room for another 3 nights due to a pulmonary edema and pneumonia among a couple other things.
To give you the back story: I went to Colorado to play in the Pond Hockey Tournament in Georgetown with the Rum Runners. We went a couple days earlier to go skiing, after a day of skiing I wasn't feeling well so I went to bed at 8pm. The next thing I remember is waking up in the ER with an oxygen mask on my face surrounded by nurses and physicians. My oxygen level at the time was at 19%! They said it was lucky I wasn't in a coma and had my girlfriend waited a couple more hours to bring me in I wouldn't be with us anymore. I'm thankful my girlfriend and 2 buddies were still awake at 5am to check on me and see I was having trouble breathing. When they tried to wake me up I was unresponsive and carried me to the car to take me to the ER. Due to the high altitude of Frisco, once my oxygen levels started to get up they transported me to a hospital in Denver. There I stayed a total for 4 nights and got released just in time to make my flight back home. Although I missed my hockey tournament, I am grateful to be alive. That being said I have almost $10,000 of medical bills of which money I currently do not have. Any donations will go towards the bills and would be extremely helpful and thoughtful.
Thank you,
Zach Parker
