I’ve Got To Get Something Off My Chest: Surgery

Hello everyone - well, this journey has had its ups & downs, but I’m generally doing well. The drug protocol I’m on is keeping cancer at bay, and I’m able to do some of the things I love, like write & fight for democracy. However, I need some fixin’. The reconstruction from my mastectomy long ago was never completed, and it's affecting my health, my circulation and mobility. I need surgery to remove & reconstruct again. Already met with my surgeon & oncologist and have been cleared, so I just need some help with resources to get it done: hospitalization, some surgical costs, frakking compression garments (so expensive!!) and time recovering. Cross your fingers that Space Karen doesn’t kill Medicare, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do this at all.
