Emergency: Missed Pay, Rent Due, loss of Access immanent!

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but I’m facing an unexpected crisis and I’m running out of options.

On December 5th, My pay was supposed to be deposited and the pay from my employer never arrived. I’ve been forced to fight to get it resolved, but with rent due and final vet bills piling up, I’m now in a situation I can’t manage alone.

I have an opportunity for increased hours at the part time job in my building but need to stay there to be eligible for them given the emergency nature of the work itself. Even a small commute would make me ineligible for the hours.`

My dog recently had a serious breathing emergency. Her first visit — including emergency care, medication, and a telemedicine consult — totalled about $1,000 CAD. My dog passed before we could get her to her second appointment, I now need to pay for her cremation. I have been surviving off my credit card and need it to survive while I fight for my pay. The needed amount for my credit card is $1,500 CAD, and I need to pay it so I can continue using it for groceries, medication, and essentials until my income issue is resolved. I've now defaulted on my rent and need help covering it as I moved here after I suffered a TBI and post concussive syndrome as a result of a violent unprovoked attack in a friends project housing. I am lucky to be alive and simply cannot go back there as that type of environment worsens my disability symptoms in many ways.

I’m doing everything I can to keep things together, but the timing and overlap of all these emergencies have pushed me past what I can handle alone. Any support — even sharing this — would mean the world to me and help me get through this incredibly stressful time.
