Help me with mom’s emergency medical bills

My mom has dementia, but was still able to live on her own in NC since my father died July 25, 2016. Mom fell down her basement stairs sometime between April 18th-April 27th. On April 27th her friend found mom and she has to be airlifted to Atrium Health in Charlotte NC. Mom fractured her skull, causing a large brain bleed, compression fractures in her back, and fractures in her left wrist. She is suffering with short term memory loss due to her brain damage, and she constantly dips in-and- out of reality. Her medical bills for one week already added up to $41,000 due to her lack of insurance. I also need to pay out of pocket $4,700 a month for memory care assisted living if she shares a room.   I could use any help possible.
