In home hospice care, there are many expenses paid for out of pocket by caregiver daughter

My Mama was in home hospice care for 14 months and suffered tremendous pains.

bed bound and unable to move

eventually she stopped eating and drinking fluids completely

hospice company did not furnish all supplies needed to help patient comfort

I paid for many things and blew up my credit

My mother did not have life insurance policy to cover any expenses.

Hospice company billed Medicare for nurse visits and a few supplies brought into the home...other things were paid by daughter

She battled Parkinsons, Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrilation. Hep C, bedridden and cared for by the home hospice team and her daughter who never left her side 24/7.
