Hi, my name is Valeria. I’m a 21-year-old Colombian girl living in Canada with big dreams and an incredible companion: my dog Boston, a 3-year-old French Bulldog who isn’t just a pet—he’s my family, my support system, and my best friend.
Unfortunately, Boston is facing a life-threatening situation. Recently, he started showing signs of distress, and after rushing him to the emergency vet, I received heartbreaking news: he has bladder stones that are completely blocking his fluids from passing, which brought him to the brink of losing his life. Thankfully, the emergency vets were able to stabilize him for now, but this is only temporary.
The only way to save Boston is through urgent surgery to remove the stones. The cost of this surgery is over $10,000 CAD, an amount I simply cannot afford on my own. As a young woman with a part-time job and no pet insurance, I’m reaching out for help from kind-hearted animal lovers who can understand how much Boston means to me.
Boston is more than just a dog—he’s been my constant source of unconditional love and comfort, through good times and bad. Now, it’s my turn to fight for him, but I can’t do it alone.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to giving Boston the surgery he urgently needs so he can return home healthy and happy. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping Boston. Your generosity and kindness give me hope in this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Valeria & Boston
