Hello, my name is Michael Lee; I am 29years old and from Rocky Mount, NC. I usually am not one to typically put myself out there like this, but I have been fighting Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma for at least five years. I was finally diagnosed in 2017 after going to the doctor a few years prior with no idea about what was happening to me and even the doctors not knowing what was happening. Throughout the process, I have been through different treatments, from light therapy to chemotherapy and radiation. I am now going through a stem cell transplant to cure me of this cancer, hopefully. Even though I have been strong and had a great support system, unfortunately, we have reached our financial ends. The money donated will go towards my medical expenses and paying for my outpatient caregiving while I recover. Anything that you can give will help out immensely. Hopefully, once I have completed this journey through my transplant, I plan to continue my college education in psychology. I hope to one day help youths and families struggling with mental health improve their outlook on life.
