Help Me Walk Project
Donation protected
I never thought I’d be in this spot. Asking for help isn’t easy for me. But the truth is, things have gotten hard. Really hard.
My right leg has started giving out on me. Walking feels like a battle every day. It’s not just pain. It’s the fear of falling. The loss of control. The weight of knowing I can’t move the way I used to. I’ve been through a lot in my life, but this one’s hitting different.
A few weeks ago I tried something called the G4 FES Unit. It’s a medical device that helps stimulate the leg muscles. When I put it on, I could walk. Not just move, but actually walk without fear. For the first time in a long time, I felt hope. Something I honestly thought I had lost.
The problem is, the device costs $3,500 and my insurance won’t cover it. I hate that I have to ask for help. But I’m putting my pride aside because this could change my life. It could give me back some freedom, confidence, and stability.
If you can help in any way, even just sharing this, I’m truly grateful. Every bit brings me closer to walking tall again.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for caring.
