My name is Eddie. I’m currently serving in the British Armed Forces, this year I’ll be taking on one of the toughest but most meaningful challenges of my life walking from the UK to Thailand.

This journey isn’t just about distance. It’s about healing.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD, depression, and anxiety. After over two decades of service, I lost the structure, purpose, and resilience that once defined me. This walk is my way of rebuilding that strength step by step while raising awareness for the thousands of others silently fighting their own mental health battles.

I’ll be walking across continents to show what recovery really looks like: raw, uncertain, but possible.

To begin this journey, I need to raise money to cover the essential kit and preparation that will sustain me through both winter and summer conditions across Europe and Asia. This includes durable clothing, camping and survival gear, navigation tools, and safety equipment.

I’m currently self-funding what I can, but to take this first step, I need a bit of help to get started as this will eat into the funds I need to survive when I start this journey.
