Hello everyone, my name is Mia Barba and I was apart of 2020 graduating class from Banning high school where I played basketball, football, & loved to run. I planned on continuing my basketball journey at OCC college and also run track and field but that all changed on Sept 27,2020. I was in a really bad car accident that left me in a coma for an entire day & when I woke up i was scared. After four surgeries of trying to save my leg, I unfortunately had no other choice but to get my right leg amputated. I’m still at a lost writing this because I can’t believe this happened.
