Hi, my name is Marissa, and I’m living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). One of the biggest challenges I face every day is difficulty walking due to foot drop and weakness in my leg. This makes even simple things like going to the store, walking around my home, or getting out to see friends much harder than they should be. There’s a device called the Bioness L300 Go that could make a life changing difference for me. It uses functional electrical stimulation to help lift my foot when I walk, making each step smoother, safer, and more natural. It would help me walk with more confidence, reduce my risk of falling, and give me greater independence in my daily life. Unfortunately, the Bioness device costs $4,000, and it’s not covered by my insurance. That’s why I’m turning to this community for help. Every dollar brings me closer to having the support I need to move more freely and regain a part of my life that MS has taken from me.
