Hello Everyone,

My name is Steven, and I need your help. I'm facing a tough battle with chronic pain due to a broken spine. Imagine trying to walk, but feeling like pins and needles are constantly stabbing your left leg, making it go numb. It's a nightmare I've been living with for too long.

After enduring numerous minimally invasive surgeries and steroid injections, it's become clear that my only hope for relief lies in a major procedure called spinal fusion surgery. This surgery, scheduled for October 9th, involves fusing together the damaged parts of my spine to stabilize it and relieve the unbearable pain.

For a while, there was a significant hurdle in my way. The surgery requires the expertise of a vascular surgeon, who, unfortunately, wasn’t covered by my insurance. This means an additional cost of $6000 just to safely open and close me up from both the front and back.

Thankfully I was able to find a brilliant surgeon with an amazing team who was able to get me an in network vascular surgeon.

I am now on the other side of the surgery hurdle and unfortunately still need help.

I had hoped to save up for this surgery, along with my regular bills, during my required downtime.

But there are unexpected expenses, as well as monthly bills to worry about. Unfortunately disability insurnace doesn’t look like it will be enough to cover everything I need to afford during my healing process, as there seems to be new unexpected expenses that pop up every day such as special gear and treatments. On top of that DI can take weeks to get approved or even to see a deposit once it does get approved.

So while I am now able to lower my fund-raising goal, I still require significant help.
