Help Me Visit My Girlfriend — Just This Once

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d make a GoFundMe for something like this, but here I am — with a hopeful heart and a small request.

My girlfriend and I are in colleges in different states. We haven’t seen each other in a long time, and due to our college schedules and hostel rules, it’s almost impossible for us to meet.

But this coming week, for the first and only time this year, we both have a short break that overlaps. I have a 5-day semester break, and she’s allowed to leave her hostel for 2 days, which line up perfectly with the weekend. It’s the only window we’ve got — and probably the only chance we’ll have to see each other in person before next year.

I only need $30 to cover the round-trip travel and basic food expenses. I normally wouldn’t ask, but this time I’m also shifting out of my hostel, so I’ll need extra money from home to set up my new place — and I really don’t want to burden my family more than I already am. Every bit of money I have is going toward that move.
