My fully favorable decision from the administrative law judge was sent for remand by the appeals council, and now I won’t have any money to go see my grandson when he is born next month. I haven’t seen my family in 2 years and I travel with a service dog. I am still waiting on SSI and don’t expect to see any payments, and have no income right now or for the foreseeable future, at least for the next 6 months. This situation has been incredibly difficult, and I am reaching out for help so I don’t miss this important moment in my family’s life.

The funds raised will help cover my plane ticket, travel costs like Uber from the airport, food, and extra leg space on the plane since my service dog is over 107lbs. Every bit of support will help me get to my family and be there for the birth of my grandson. I missed the birth of my first grandson in 2020 due to Covid, and I don’t want to miss this chance to be with my loved ones.
