Hi, my name is Lara.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever written because asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me.

If you’ve seen me on social media, you might think I have everything figured out. You see the photos, the confidence, the modeling, and the training. But social media only shows part of the story.

The reality is that I’m still fighting every day to build the future I’ve dreamed of for myself.

I’m a Black trans woman, a kickboxing champion, a Muay Thai athlete, a model, and an aspiring actress. I’ve spent years pushing myself, developing discipline, and refusing to give up on my dreams.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about action, movement, adventure, and storytelling. Becoming a stunt performer isn’t just a career goal - it’s the one thing that brings together everything I love.

The professional stunt training program I want to attend costs €18,000.

For some people, that might just be a number. For me, it’s the distance between where I am today and the future I’ve been working toward for years.

I don’t want sympathy, and I don’t believe anyone owes me success.

What I’m asking for is a chance.

A chance to train. A chance to learn. A chance to turn years of dedication, martial arts, and perseverance into a real career.

Representation matters. Growing up, I rarely saw Black trans women portrayed as athletes, action performers, or people chasing extraordinary dreams. I want my story to be about possibility. I want to show that we belong in every space, including the ones people don’t expect us to be in.

Why this program?

I’ve spent years training in martial arts and preparing myself for a career built on discipline, performance, and physical excellence. After extensive research, this is the program I believe will give me the strongest foundation to enter the stunt industry professionally. It’s the next step I’ve chosen with intention, and the opportunity I’ve been working toward for years.
