Help Me Transition into Tech & Continue My Journey

If you've made it to this page, you've probably known me as the shoe guy with LFLS Shoes, or the guy in LA that throws all the nice events at The Outlet LA. Regardless of which version of me you are familiar with, over the years you have become family to me, especially in moments when I truly needed a family to lean on and didn't have one. Whether it was a share on social media, a shoe purchase, or buying a ticket to an Outlet event, you've been a key component in my journey and evolution as a man and entrepreneur. As most of you reading this know, I lost my grandmother, dad and mom all before graduating college. Before my mom passed in 2016, she planted the seed for the first business I ever started, LFLS Shoes. She was my number one source of support and motivation on the journey into entrepreneurship. When I lost her, I picked myself up by the bootstraps and continued to build brick by brick. Since her passing, any business endeavor I've embarked upon has been self funded, get it out of the mud type of situation. I've just looked in the mirror and made the sacrifices necessary to bring my visions to life, that's exactly how The Outlet LA was built.

But now, I've reached yet another transitional period in my journey as an entrepreneur and this one requires more of me than I could have imagined. From shoes, to events, to tech... I toyed around with the idea of going the Venture Capital and private investor routes, but they just haven't sat well with me and how I operate in business. My first business endeavor was executed with FAMILY, my mother. I value that so much more and I was starting to get depressed and discouraged about not being able to lean on family to jumpstart my new tech projects. Then I had a call with a mentor that opened my eyes to a realization that had been staring me in my eyes this entire time... Over the past 10 years... I have built a family, a chosen family. He helped me to realize that I had built a community of people that love me, believe in me and support me through LFLS Shoes and The Outlet LA. I actually have a huge family to lean on and I just hadn't made the conscious decision to intentionally lean on each of you.

I think we all slip up on this many times in life, moments and situations when we want to "figure it out ourselves" or "keep it all to ourselves". But today I am breaking through that barrier and leaning on the family I've built over the past decade of my life to support me in this huge transitional period in my entrepreneurial journey.

This will also give me the runway needed to continue developing innovative technology and inspiring others through my journey as a small town country kid from Arkansas who had a dream and pushed through all adversity to see the vision through.

I love each and every one of you so much and I wouldn't be the man I am today without the impact you have personally made on my life over the past decade! My goal is to scale my tech projects and be able to reinvest into our communities, other undeserved entrepreneurs, relaunch LFLS Shoes one day and finally open my first speakeasy social club, Dap's House.

Memberly is a subscription-based platform revolutionizing the nightlife and hospitality industry. It provides event producers with a predictable, recurring revenue model while offering event-goers seamless access to curated events for a single subscription fee. This innovative model eliminates the unpredictability of ticket sales and fosters stronger community engagement.

Connectify:

Connectify aims to create an intelligent platform that simplifies and prioritizes social interactions among friends. By leveraging AI technology, the app fosters stronger personal connections, enhancing overall well-being and reducing the hassle of planning meetups.
