Hi! My name is Priscila Schmidt, I'm 25 years old and I am from Paraguay. This fundraiser is made to help me cover part of the expenses of my training in Lifestyle Medicine in U.S.

I studied medicine at River Plate Adventist University in Entre Rios, Argentina. Due to the effort and financial support of my mother, many days of hard study, and the help of God, I'll graduate in medicine in June of this year.
My dream is to continue training as a physician in the field of Lifestyle Medicine and as a medical missionary too. For that reason, I applied to take the course of Lifestyle Medicine at Wildwood Health Institute in Georgia, United States. The course offers me excellent training with technical, practical and theoretical knowledge about natural medicine and lifestyle medicine.
Thank God I was accepted in april of this year and I feel so happy for the opportunity that God is giving me to train me in what I think is the medicine that treats not only to heal but to prevent and in this way help many people to have better health and a healthy lifestyle. The Institute offered me a scholarship, which I consider a GREAT blessing, since right now I do not have the financial means to pay for the course.
I'm currently waiting for my degree to be validated in my country, so right now I cannot work as a physician in my country. Even so, I decided to work on my own selling books about natural medicine and with that helping people to have a better lifestyle, which helped me to save some money for my visa, but it is not enough to cover the costs of the airplane ticket (600 USD) and the tuition for the course (350 USD),
since the course starts in June and does not give me time to save the amount I need. Also, due to the pandemic, my family is going through a difficult financial situation.
I need your help to fulfill my dream of academic growth in the place that I have had in mind for a long time as one of the best institutes to train in the area of lifestyle medicine and also in medical missionary work. really want to be not only an excellent doctor but an excellent person who reflects the character of the God I serve and I want to invest time and effort to achieve that goal.

Mi nombre es Priscila Schmidt, tengo 25 años y soy oriunda de Paraguay. Esta campaña fue creada para ayudarme a pagar parte de mi formación en Medicina del Estilo de Vida en los Estados Unidos.
¡Desde ya, muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de leer un poco de mi historia!
Estudié medicina en la Universidad Adventista del Plata en Entre Rios, Argentina. Debido al esfuerzo y apoyo económico de mi mama, a muchos días de arduo estudio y a la ayuda de Dios en cada examen, me estaré graduando de médica en junio de este año.
Mi sueño es seguir formándome como médica en el área de medicina del estilo de vida y también como medica misionera. Por esa razón, aplique para hacer un curso de medicina del estilo de vida en Wildwood Health Institute en Georgia, Estados Unidos. El curso me ofrece un entrenamiento excelente con conocimiento técnico, practico y teórico de medicina natural y del estilo de vida.
Gracias a Dios fui aceptada en abril y me siento muy feliz por la oportunidad que Dios me está dando de formarme en el tipo de medicina que no solo trata para curar sino para prevenir y ayudar de esa forma a muchas personas a tener mejor salud y un estilo de vida saludable. El Instituto me ofrecio una beca, lo cual considero una gran bendición, ya que ahora mismo no tengo las posibilidades financieras para pagar el curso.
Actualmente mi titulo de medica continua en trámite y no puedo trabajar como médica en mi país de origen. Aun así, decidí trabajar por mi cuenta vendiendo libros de salud para ayudar a las personas a mejorar su estilo de vida, lo cual me ayudo a ahorrar para pagar los documentos de mi visa, pero no es suficiente para cubrir los gastos del pasaje de avión (600 USD) y la matricula del curso (350 USD), ya que el curso comienza en junio y no me da tiempo para ahorrar el monto que necesito. Además, debido a la pandemia, mi familia está pasando por una situación económica muy difícil.
Necesito tu ayuda para cumplir mi sueño de formación académica en el lugar que hace mucho tiempo tengo en mente como uno de los mejores institutos para formarse en el área de medicina del estilo de vida y también en la obra medico misionera. Realmente deseo ser no solo una excelente medica sino una excelente persona que refleje el carácter del Dios al que sirvo y quiero invertir tiempo y esfuerzo para lograr esa meta.
