It's been 8 years since that fateful day that changed my life and those lives around me forever.   Since then, it's been an uphill battle every step of the way.  Although my condition at times seems insurmountable, I believe (with the help of friends and family) I will rise up..  So please give a few dollars to help me stand! I am truly grateful for all of you.  And although this affliction has caused me pain and torment, I am thankful that it has made me a better person by instilling strength, courage, patience, tolerance and steadfastness with a more tender heart and the mindset to take nothing/no one for granted.
