Hello all and thanks for taking the time to stop by my GoFundMe. Over the last year I have been doing some reflection on my life and where it’s going since the death of my mother which led me to decide on finding a more lucrative and permanent career.

 

I was offered the chance to work for a major airline as a flight attendant; a chance to do some work that is substantial and gives me new purpose in the light of all the happenings of the last couple years. However, that dream hangs in limbo as my past is putting a damper on my future.

 

8 years ago I received a DUI as a young, rambunctious 23 year old. Many of us are familiar with the issues our immature younger years may cause later in life. I’m learning this lesson at the most difficult time. To begin my training, I have to obtain a TRP that allows me to enter Canada as an employee; my DUI prohibits my ability without an attorney to plead my case. I haven’t had true equitable employment since the pandemic, dealing with depression since my mom passed from cancer last year, and losing my grandmother right before Christmas 2021 has really cast a dark cloud on my life— the issue with this airline is where those clouds begin to drop rain showers.

 

I am in need of help securing an attorney at the cost of $2,500 to put my life in a better place and have my dream job in my hands. I never ask for help and I’m relying on my network of family and friends who love and care about me to help in anyway they can. No donation is too small and I’m appreciative of ALL the help. Anyone who knows me knows that my mom and grandmother would have made this correct instantly so having to take this route is hard, but even in this moment, I’m thankful for the growth.
