Help me to recover my photography gear.

Hi, my name is Krzysztof (or Kris), I'm a roller derby photographer based in Perth, Scotland.

At MEC in mid-November some of the main items of my kit were stolen. The items missing include my favourite lenses and both of my cameras (including my beloved Nikon D850 which I bought half a year ago and still haven't paid off) . At the time no one saw anything suspicious. After speaking with the police and investigating the theft myself there seems to be very little prospect of the lost items being recovered.

I have been devastated since this happened and would like to thank everyone who has been in contact and messaged me for all their kind words and support - it has really meant a lot. To my photographer friends - I love you guys.

Now I am faced with the difficult prospect of replacing the lost items. I have decided to take up the suggestion made by various people to set up a go fund me. My idea is to buy a second hand camera (used D850 and Sigma 50-100 lense) I anticipate this will cost me about £2,500

I am reaching out to the derby community - photographers document the fun times in our chosen sport. To do that we invest a lot of our hard earned money buying these bits of photography kit. Any help will be massively appreciated - hopefully I’ll see you back on track sometime soon.
