My name is Loretta & I have two pets and we live in Pasadena, California. I have a 6-year-old cat named Miss Cecilia or Cece & a 6-year-old Maltipoo dachshund mix name Mr. Sir jackson. I've had them for over 6 years & they are extremely bonded.

I have been placed in a very awkward and devastating position where I have been unable to have clients for over a year.

I was placed in a temporary housing facility right after the Eaton canyon fires to be housed where they told me I could have no visitors or clients.

I have been unable to pay my own bills with my own funds since.

Since February 17th of 2026, I was kicked out of that facility and have been sleeping in my car with my two pets.

I was kicked out of the temporary facility for not putting Mr. Sir Jackson in a muzzle where it was completely unnecessary.

My pet does not bark, bite or growl.

I have also been given notice to move my things out of storage by the 10th of April. I am unable to do so because I have no place to put it or help to move it out.

I am completely devastated by all of this and extremely stressed.
