Hello, my name is Connie. I have three beautiful little boys: Jericho, Maritzio, and Juvencio. My youngest little boy, Juvencio, was a high-risk pregnancy and was constantly checked up on at MFM. Our son was supposed to be a C-section birth; however, he had changed positions in time for him to be born naturally. When I was 6 months pregnant, the doctors said he has VSD and that there was a possibility that he would need heart surgery to close the hole in his heart. They told me that he would need the surgery 4-6 months after he was born in order for him to gain weight and breathe properly on his own.

Being that there's only one primary children's hospital in Utah, we have to travel 4 1/2 hours, and when I spoke to the primary children's office, they told me we would be looking at a 14-day recovery inpatient care. My family and I never ask for help like this, but it's for my 4-month-old son, and we are really struggling. The total cost to get a car that’ll fit all three babies is around 3,500 and the remaining money would go for gas expenses and groceries for the boys such as diapers and wipes and cold medicine since winter is coming and they get sick very easily. I don't have a car at this moment in time to take my son to his appointments. I am on EBT, but they cut us short this month, so money is very crucial, and I just want my son to make it to his surgery. Anything helps. Even $1.
