Help to publish a children’s book

Have you ever felt different?? Been bullied or made to feel like you don’t belong??
This book is about a Moose who feels exactly like that. He is kicked out from his herd and forced to find those who’ll accept him.
It gently encourages parents and children to feel compassion and empathy, and especially with children, the hope is that they’ll remember the message this book gives when life gets hard for them or others.
My book is called Mighty Maurice, it is a children’s book aimed at children from 0-9. It is rhyming and has a colouring book in the back.
I wrote it in 2016, however, it took a couple of years of editing to get it to its final copy.
I have had it privately illustrated and am choosing to self publish because well known publishers are known for not wanting to take risks, and focusing on subjects that they believe will be the most popular and profitable. Not what children want or need.
Also, choosing to self publish means that I can choose to have it printed and bound by only U.K. companies, therefore supporting local businesses.
Most children’s books currently on sale have been either bound or printed or both abroad where the costs are cheaper, sacrificing quality.
This book might just appear to be another children’s book in a market that already has so many, but it has a true moral story, that, having tested it on many families, everyone picks up on and was enjoyed by both parents and children.
