Hello, my name is Gabriel Colmenares and I am 40 years old. I have two beautiful children with my wife Karyuli. Recently, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells and the immune system. This cancer has caused fractures in some of my bones, resulting in intense pain. It has also affected my kidneys, significantly decreasing my renal function.

Due to the illness, I lost my job, adding financial pressure to the emotional and physical burden that the diagnosis brought. However, I am determined to fight with all my strength, even though the treatments necessary to combat this disease are expensive. Over the next year, I will undergo intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Even with health insurance, I must cover significant out-of-pocket expenses such as copayments and medications. I also need alternative treatments, such as adaptogens, to mitigate the side effects of chemotherapy. Additionally, I have to undergo frequent epigenetic tests to adjust my diet, as my kidneys are severely affected by the myeloma.

I am requesting your support to cover the costs of these treatments and therapies. The funds will be used exclusively for medical expenses, such as doctor visits, laboratory tests, and therapies necessary to maintain my health during this battle against cancer.

Hola, mi nombre es Gabriel Colmenares tengo 40 años y soy padre de dos hermosos niños con mi esposa Karyuli. Recientemente, mi vida dio un giro inesperado cuando fui diagnosticado con mieloma múltiple, un tipo de cáncer en la sangre que afecta a las células plasmáticas y el sistema inmunológico. Este cáncer ha causado fracturas en algunos de mis huesos generando dolor intenso. También ha afectado mis riñones, disminuyendo considerablemente mi función renal.

Debido a la enfermedad me quede sin empleo, lo que añadió presión financiera a la carga emocional y física que implico el diagnóstico. Sin embargo, estoy decidido a luchar con todas mis fuerzas, aunque los tratamientos necesarios para combatir esta enfermedad son costosos. Durante el próximo año, me someteré a quimioterapias e inmunoterapias intensivas. Incluso con seguro médico, debo cubrir gastos significativos de mi bolsillo, como copagos y medicamentos. También necesito tratamientos alternativos, como adaptógenos, para mitigar los efectos secundarios de la quimioterapia. Además, tengo que realizar pruebas epigenéticas frecuentes para ajustar mi dieta, pues mis riñones están gravemente afectados por el mieloma.
