Hello, I'm Aramatou – an Ivorian-British Fashion Textiles Artist and a graduate of Central Saint Martins.

My creative journey is deeply rooted in my upbringing in Ivory Coast in nature and culture.

I reimagine waste materials into garments and visual art that tell stories—stories of real life, resilience, and culture. Every piece I create is more than just fashion; it's an experience and a message of hope, empowerment, and purpose.

Why I Create

In a world where fast fashion dominates, I believe in slowing down, looking deeper, and creating meaning from what others discard. Through upcycled and repurposed materials, I give waste new life—transforming the forgotten into the unforgettable.

My work celebrates identity, community, and the beauty found in everyday life. It’s about showing what’s possible when we choose to create consciously.

What’s Next?

After years of dedication, sacrifice, and growth, I’m stepping into the next phase of my journey:
