Thai Street Paws needs our help

Hi, my name is Nikki and I'm fundraising to travel to Thailand and help a cause close to my heart - the Thai Street Paws Rescue in Songkhla, Thailand.

5 days ago, the rescue has unexpectedly been left without any staff. The next volunteers arrive in December/January and until new local staff can be hired and trained the founder, my friend Tamara is caring for 150 dogs at the sanctuary on her own every day. This isn't sustainable for one person to do for long. She needs someone to come on a longer term basis for several months and pretty quickly or the sanctuary may have to close permanently leaving the dogs with nowhere to go.

This is where I come in - I first volunteered at Thai Street Paws in 2018 and have been back to volunteer 3 times since that first visit. My most recent volunteer visit was last month. I had planned to return mid next year once I had saved money to get back, however with the recent crisis - Tamara and I would both like for me to get there as soon as possible.

Anyone who knows me, knows I would do anything to help dogs in need. And it turns out that includes asking my friends, family, acquaintances and strangers on the internet for money. Since this is incredibly short notice, I can't financially do this without help.

So I am begging, if you have managed to read this far, please help us!

Any money received will be used to pay for my travel/transport costs, housing and basic living expenses. The more donations we get, the longer I can stay at the sanctuary. Any funds received over what is needed will be donated by me straight to Thai Street Paws Rescue.
