Hi, my name is Nicola but liked to be called Nicky.

My story begins December 2016 the week before Christmas myself & my husband went to watch Simply red @ the O2 arena.

We went site seeing whilst walking a felt a burning sensation under my left arm pit it felt like I had shaved & sprayed deodorant on, which I had not so took pain killers & carried on. Whilst in the shower i washed under my arm pit & along the tail of the breast where i found a lump. It was confirmed January 28th 2020 it was breast cancer I had a lumpectomy on Feb 26th followed by 6 weeks of radiotherapy every day with the weekends off. I was currently working for Audi dealership Mon motors as a reception host. Meeting & greeting our customers. I worked every day even tho I was having radiotherapy & had very good support from my employer.

Fast forward I was 4 months from my 5 year remission when in October 2021 the cancer returned with a diagnosis of being terminal. I found a lump just above my collar bone which I was told they could not operate due to the location & they will give me palliative care

With no definite time regarding my life expectancy.

This was a blow I never anticipated. My husband, my 2 girls 33 & 37 my 6 grandsons & my one great grandson.

Right up to xmas eve I was receiving targeted radiotherapy to the back of my lymphatic system above the shoulder to help shrink the cancer cells that was blocking the lymphatic system from draining fluids

The pain I felt just walking my arm was like a tree trunk & it got bigger & bigger I could not wear a coat or even put on underwear, undress , redress bath, shower comb my hair I was totally reliant on my husband & daughter's. I stayed positive & had the best oncology team that treated me previously.

I now have to travel to Bristol 2-3 times a month for treatment all depending on my blood palette due to my 1 day oral chemotherapy tablets which for 63 tablets @ a funding cost of £9000.00 Blood test £3000 or £6000 if I have to retake due to white cells not recovering. Also injections in each cheek of my bum which is a estrogen blocker because the cancer feed off the hormone so it turns off the receptors. Every 3 months I go for full body scans as a check to see if there is any change. I could not believe the drugs are not available in the uk & the NHS have to get it funded

I want to raise the money for a new scan & radiotherapy machine which cost thousands & help cancer suffers to get the help. Lymphedema patients showing them you can drain the lymphatic system with homeopathic items like I did my arm is 95% drained & continues to get better I can wear a watch now but the ability to do simple things has disabled my arm that I am unable to raise above my head. S

So I am asking ,begging to help me help others. Cancer has no indiscriminate creed,age or gender. It could be your wife, daughter,mother Aunt, & even men can get breast cancer.
