Dear reader,

I am Mohammed Abu Afifa, a 37-years old civil engineer from Gaza. My family and I have been seriously affected by the ongoing war in Gaza.

I met my amazing wife Asma'a Al-Tilbani and we have now 3 children, 2 boys Khalid and Amro, and one beautiful daughter Tala.

Khalid is 11 years old, and he got injured in his eye in the 2021 war on Gaza. Khliad has also other health conditions and he needs continuous medical treatments. Khalid has experienced 4 wars on Gaza, and he is suffering due to smoke and smell of rockets and bullets.

Tala is 9 years old, and she got injured in her face during the current war on Gaza. Tala did not have regular education due to the wars on Gaza in 2021 en 2023 and before that due to Corona outbreak. Tala wishes to have a normal year at her school like any other student elsewhere without worry or fear.

My 3-years old child, Amro, is going through very hard time due to the current war on Gaza.

This picture of me and my family was taken in our lovely home a few days before this war started. Our home is now severely damaged so we had to displace several times, first to a Magazi refugee camp, and then further south to Khan Younis, and finally to Dir Al-balah looking for a safe place for our kids.

I was working as a freelancer, and my only income source was the project I was working on, this is now gone! and I don't have any other source to feed my family.

Recently I got celiac disease, I have lost 15 KG of my weight. With your help I hope to be able to evacuate my family from Gaza and rebuild our life again.
