My name is Jade. In 2022/2023 I fundraised via GoFundMe to get much needed HSCT Stemcell treatment to stop the progression of my aggressive MS. I was very greatful to everyone for helping me get the treatment. I have had no new lesions or progression since October 2023, however since the treatment I have had really bad spacticity and balance issues caused by the treatment of chemo on my body.

I am reaching out for your support again in fundraising for much needed Neurological Physio treatment to help my brain remember the pathways to allow me to walk. I have been working hard on my walking, diet and also underwent test studies at Apex Neuro in Manchester. The treatment intro was a great success but to keep it up I need to purchase a home electro stim machine and attend a week intensive session to show my brain how to rewire itself. Then it will be yearly visits as well as possibly monthly consults via video link due to living so far away.

Hopefully following this treatment, I can then return home and use the skills and tools provided by Apex Neuro to work on my recovery back to walking unaided!

I’m not looking for a miracle but to even simply walk around my house without a walking aid and losing balance and falling would be amazing. Currently, my legs feel very heavy stiff and very robotic when moving and also I get a great deal of pain in my spine.

I know this is a big ask, but every penny counts! I would love to get back to working normally, enjoying walks, cycles with my children and even just been able to walk out my house and sit in the garden!

Multiple sclerosis is a horrid disease, but I want to fight it. Using the tools and expertise from Apex Neuro I’m sure to see great improvements with my spacticity and walking gait.
