Help Me to find a Diagnosis and Treatment Plan

My name is Daniela, I am the partner of Marc and a mother to Herbie.

I have been on a health journey for coming up to two years. I first became ill at the end of 2021, initially my pain was diagnosed as sciatica this pain continued for one year, I had multiple visits to the doctors whereby the diagnosis remained unchanged.

In August 2022 I was hospitalised after collapsing, it was only then after a more thorough investigation a 13 cm growth was found in my pelvic area. A biopsy was taken and they informed me it was a cancerous tumour. Marc and I were obviously shocked and scared. After three weeks of devastation they informed me they had made a mistake it was not a cancerous tumour it was an abscess. They did not know what was causing the abscess to form and they had not detected any cancerous cells.

At this point I was relieved but in an incredible amount of pain. The hospital decided that an operation to extract fluid from the abscess would relieve my pain, however this procedure resulted in the abscess multiplying. They became bigger and started to metastasis onto my bones and my internal organs. The doctors / surgeons did not know why this was happening or how to proceed.

After some time it was agreed the abscess’s needed to be removed whole in the hope that this would stop them from forming / multiplying. It was advised that this was a guess with no guarantees.

They advised me how dangerous the operation was and that it had not been performed in Ibiza before. With this in mind I left my family and travelled to Italy for a second opinion. After three months in Italy the doctors were still unable to find the cause of the abscess ‘s or agree how they should be treated.

They decided to operate with laparectomy, I was cut open my internal organs were removed from my body to gain access to the abscess’s, which needed to be removed whole to stop them spreading again. At present they do not know if this operation has been a success.

Both the skin of the abscess’s and the fluid extracted from them was sent for analysis, only then did they find cancerous cells. The various consulting experts do not know or understand which organ is responsible for the growth of the abscess’s. They claim it's an extreme, rare type of malignant cancer and they don't know how to treat it. It spreads very quickly and aggressively.

During the operation some of the nerves of my legs were damaged. Currently I cannot walk properly and I need regular physiotherapy to be able to walk properly again.

I need a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Spain and Italy have been unable to date to provide this or know how to proceed.

I have been operated on three times and I have lost an incredible amount of weight, currently I am 45kg and worse of all I continue to be in a considerable amount of pain all day every day. I do not know if the abscess’s have been treated successfully or why I am still in so much pain.

I really need your help with private medical assistance to get a third / fourth opinion in a university hospital or research facility. I do not have funds for travel and accommodation to enable me to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. I urgently need a PET scan to see if any abscess’s have returned, this is currently being denied in Ibiza. I need urgently to find out why I continue to be in so much pain.

Your help will enable me to do the following:-

• Medical documents need to be translated by a medical professional at a significant cost from Italian to Spanish and English. Once translated they will be supplied to various doctors and appointments will be made to seek a diagnosis. Approx 300 Euros

• PET Scan – Rosaria Clinic Ibiza To find out if the operation has been a success and to see if the abscess’s have returned. Approx 850 – 1440 Euros Depending on the location of the scan.

• In patient treatment at Valencia clinic of integrative oncology.

• Ozone therapy

• Physio Therapy to help me walk properly again.

• Flights / accommodation.

• Help with the cost of medication / supplements essential to keep the cells from metastasizing whilst waiting for a diagnosis and treatment plan.

I have been told am a one in a million case that dumbfounds the experts.

This does not help me and adds to my frustration. I have suffered for two years, I have been operated on three time and continue to be in a level six out of ten pain, more or less constantly. I rarely get continuous sleep.

I want my life back I hope with your help we can find a diagnosis so that I can find the correct treatment plan your help will enable this to happen.

No solution at present is on the horizon meanwhile the clock is ticking....

I hope your help will enable me to return to health, to live my life fully again.

Dopo quasi due anni di ricoveri ospedalieri sia in Spagna che in Italia non sono riuscita a trovare una diagnosi precisa od una terapia ad un tumore maligno molto raro.

La medicina ufficiale al momento non e' stata in grado di identificare che cosa causa la formazione di ascessi retroperitoneali, che crescendo attaccano organi, muscoli e ossa.

Con il vostro aiuto potro' rivolgermi a dottori privati e cliniche private che offrono terapie alternative, come immunoterapia, iniezioni di vitamina C intravenosa, ozonoterapa, e potro'avvalermi di medicinali che son parecchio costosi e supplementi necessari. Tutto cio'impedira'al tumore di produrre metastasi mentre si cerca una diagnosi.

Con il vostro aiuto potro' recarmi in altre citta' dove sono specializzati in tumori rari e finalmente trovare una diagnosi ed una cura. Con il vostro aiuto potro' ricevere le cure fisoterapiche che mi hanno lasciato incapace di camminare a causa dei nervi danneggiati dopo l'operazione e che mi procurano dolori lancinanti.

Con le vostre donazioni potro' forse ritrovare la mia salute ed uscire da questo dolore costante e che mi impedisce di gioire della vita appieno.
