Hello, my name is Camille and recently, I have been deeply moved by the difficult situation in Gaza, especially for the families living there. With great compassion, I want to support my friend Layane and her family, who are going through an especially challenging time.

My motivation for this fundraiser is simple: I believe in solidarity and mutual aid. By contributing to this fund, we can offer some comfort and support to those in need right now. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference and help lighten their daily burdens.

Hello everyone,

I am Layane Krayem, a 11-year-old girl from Gaza. My family consists of 7 members and I am the eldest , and we have been enduring unimaginable hardships. My father, who is now blind due to the war, my mother,and my little brothers, are dependent on me for care and provide. My grandfather and uncle were killed in the relentless bombings by Israel, leaving us in deep sorrow and fear.

We are currently in the shelters of Deir el Balah after our home and my father’s small shop were completely destroyed by incendiary bombs and internationally banned phosphorus.

This devastation forced us to flee from Gaza City to Rafah on foot, a perilous journey of 10 kilometers and move back to Deir el balah , My mother, who is ill and my father is blind , making it impossible and so hard for him to work.

Now, we are in Deir el balah with no aid, sleeping on the hot ground in a handmade tent. Me and my family built the tent ourselves , and our kind neighbors provided us with some blankets. We lost everything in the war—our home, our livelihood, and our sense of security. My father’s hard work to build our house have been reduced to rubble.

The war has left us homeless and jobless, increasing our suffering. We left our home with only the clothes on our backs and now cannot afford even basic necessities like clothing and medicine for my parents. The loss of friends, neighbors, and our home has been devastating.

I never imagined facing such hardships at my age. I am pleading for your support to help us evacuate from this war-torn area. Your donations and help will mean the world to us, as I do not want to spend the rest of my life trying to rebuild what was destroyed.
