Help me to do a year of mission work

Dear Friends,

My name is Joel Simon, and I’m 18 years old.

From a young age, I’ve been deeply involved in the Jesus Youth movement—a community that has shaped my heart, nurtured my faith, and helped me discover God’s purpose for my life. Through Jesus Youth, I’ve come to understand that following Christ is about living a life of mission, love, and surrender.

One quote that continues to inspire me is from St. Thérèse of Lisieux:

“Mission is not just going abroad; it is making Jesus known and loved in every place, starting with the heart.”

Now, I’ve been blessed with an incredible opportunity to attend a Jesus Youth mission training program in Thailand, and I truly believe this is the next step in the journey God is leading me on.

Through this training, I hope to:

• Deepen my relationship with God

• Learn to share the Gospel in practical, everyday ways

• Serve others with humility, joy, and love

After completing the program, I will return to the UK with a renewed spirit and a commitment to serve. My goal is to support local prayer groups and engage with young people - like me - helping them grow in their faith and experience the love of Christ more deeply.

I’m genuinely excited and grateful for this opportunity, but I know I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask you to consider partnering with me in two powerful ways: through prayer and, if possible, financial support.
